Solid Start
Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG) offers world-class health care in a healing and welcoming environment, using the most state-of-the art technology mixed with compassionate care. The hospital is available to everyone, regardless of life circumstances. ZSFG promotes community health through a patient-centered approach. Its Solid Start program is an innovative, multi-disciplinary approach to addressing racial and economic disparities in birth outcomes for pregnant mothers. Solid Start challenges ZSFG to be more inclusive and compassionate in its delivery of health care to pregnant moms, while also providing connections to essential community resources. The impact is safer, healthier, well-supported pregnant mothers and their young children.
